Content Guidelines & Community Standards

These guidelines establish the expectations, rules, and values that govern all content and behavior on this platform. Every user, creator, and community group is required to comply with these guidelines.

Last Updated: 25 May 2026Version: 1.0

These guidelines apply to all User-Generated Content including posts, videos, reels, stories, comments, direct messages, profile information, group descriptions, and any other content you contribute to the platform. They exist to protect our users, maintain a trustworthy environment, and ensure compliance with Google Play Store policies and applicable law.

1. Our Core Community Values

This platform is built on five foundational values that guide all content and interaction standards:

Safety First

We will never compromise user safety. Content or behavior that puts users at risk will be acted upon immediately.

Authenticity

We value real people, real stories, and honest expression. Deception, impersonation, and inauthenticity undermine trust.

Respect

Every person on this platform deserves dignity. Harassment, bullying, and dehumanization have no place here.

Inclusion

We welcome users of all backgrounds, identities, and perspectives. Discrimination and prejudice are prohibited.

Integrity

We enforce our policies fairly and consistently. Our content review processes are impartial and transparent.

2. Allowed Content

We encourage the following types of content that align with our community values:

2.1 Social and Lifestyle Content

  • Personal posts, photos, and videos sharing your life, experiences, and creativity.
  • Short-form video content (reels) featuring entertainment, humor, education, or inspiration.
  • Stories and updates that reflect authentic daily experiences.
  • Polls, Q&As, and interactive content that fosters community engagement.
  • Travel, food, fitness, and hobby content that adds value to the community.

2.2 Creative and Artistic Content

  • Original music, dance, art, comedy, and other creative works.
  • Fan content that does not infringe copyrights or defame real individuals.
  • Educational content sharing knowledge, skills, tutorials, or insights.
  • Documentary-style content covering real events or social issues presented factually.

2.3 Community and Group Content

  • Interest-based communities organized around shared hobbies, topics, or localities.
  • Local city and neighborhood groups sharing relevant community information.
  • Professional and business groups fostering industry-specific discussions.
  • Support communities providing peer encouragement on constructive topics.

3. Prohibited Content — Full Policy

Zero Tolerance Categories

The following content categories result in immediate removal and may result in permanent account termination without warning: Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), Terrorist or Extremist Content, Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery (NCII), and content that directly incites imminent physical violence.

3.1 Hate Speech and Discriminatory Content

We prohibit content that promotes hatred, violence, or discrimination against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, caste, or immigration status. Specifically prohibited:

  • Dehumanizing language or imagery portraying groups as subhuman, as criminals, or as an existential threat.
  • Calls for violence, discrimination, or exclusion against any protected group.
  • Slurs, insults, and targeted hate language directed at individuals based on identity.
  • Content that glorifies, promotes, or celebrates hate crimes or discriminatory acts.
  • Conspiracy theories that target specific ethnic, religious, or demographic groups.

We distinguish hate speech from commentary on social issues, criticism of ideology, or documentation of hate speech for educational purposes. Context matters in our review process.

3.2 Harassment, Bullying, and Stalking

We do not allow any content or behavior designed to make another person feel unsafe, afraid, or unwelcome. This includes:

  • Repeated, unwanted contact with a user who has blocked you or indicated they do not want to be contacted.
  • Coordinated harassment campaigns targeting a specific individual.
  • Posting content designed to humiliate, shame, or degrade a specific private individual.
  • Threatening a person's physical safety, property, or livelihood.
  • Publishing or threatening to publish another person's private information (doxxing).
  • Encouraging others to harass or mass-report a specific individual's account without cause.
  • Creating content specifically designed to mock a person's appearance, disability, or personal tragedy.

3.3 Violent and Graphic Content

We do not allow gratuitous violent or graphic content. Specifically prohibited:

  • Graphic depictions of death, serious injury, or torture presented for shock value or entertainment.
  • Content that celebrates, glorifies, or promotes violence against any person or group.
  • Animal cruelty or abuse, including content that depicts animals being harmed for entertainment.
  • Footage of real-world violence or accidents posted without educational or newsworthiness context.
  • Content inciting violence or providing operational instructions for carrying out violent acts.

We may allow graphic content posted in an educational, journalistic, or documentary context if it includes appropriate context and warnings.

3.4 Sexual Content and Nudity

This platform is a general audience social network accessible to users aged 13 and above. Accordingly:

  • Pornographic or sexually explicit content is strictly prohibited at all times.
  • Content that partially or fully exposes genitals, buttocks, or female nipples is prohibited, except where clearly medical, educational, or artistic in nature (e.g., breastfeeding imagery, clinical illustrations).
  • Sexually suggestive content in formats designed to solicit sexual responses is prohibited.
  • Non-consensual sharing of intimate imagery (revenge porn) is strictly prohibited and will be reported to law enforcement.

3.5 Child Safety

The protection of minors is our highest priority. The following are strictly and absolutely prohibited:

  • Any sexual content, commentary, or imagery involving individuals under 18 years of age (CSAM).
  • Any content that sexualizes, exploits, grooms, or endangers children or adolescents.
  • Any content that facilitates physical contact between an adult and a minor for any harmful purpose.
  • Sharing personal information of minors, including photographs, school details, or location.

All CSAM detected on the platform is immediately removed, the user's account is permanently terminated, and the content is reported to NCMEC and relevant Indian law enforcement agencies.

3.6 Spam and Inauthentic Behavior

  • Creating multiple accounts for the purpose of evading moderation, boosting engagement metrics, or impersonating others.
  • Coordinated inauthentic behavior — including networks of fake accounts created to manipulate information.
  • Sending unsolicited bulk messages, chain messages, or repetitive promotional content.
  • Using bots, automated scripts, or non-human methods to interact with the platform without authorization.
  • Buying or selling followers, likes, comments, or other engagement metrics.
  • Artificially inflating the reach or engagement of content through deceptive means.

3.7 Misinformation and Harmful False Content

  • Deliberately fabricating or distorting information to deceive users on matters of public health, safety, or civic importance.
  • Spreading false health information that contradicts established medical consensus (e.g., vaccine misinformation, medical cure fraud).
  • Impersonating government agencies, health organizations, or official bodies to spread false information.
  • Manipulated media — including deepfakes, edited videos, and fabricated screenshots designed to deceive — when used to spread misinformation.

We partner with fact-checking organizations to label or reduce distribution of content identified as misinformation on matters of significant public interest.

3.8 Dangerous Organizations and Extremist Content

  • Content created by, promoting, or celebrating terrorist organizations, violent extremist groups, or criminal networks.
  • Recruitment of individuals to extremist causes, militias, or violent organizations.
  • Content that provides operational support, logistical guidance, or financing information to dangerous organizations.
  • Glorification of mass violence, genocide, or organized terrorism.

3.9 Dangerous Activities and Illegal Content

  • Providing instructions for producing weapons, explosives, or dangerous substances.
  • Content promoting or facilitating illegal drug manufacturing, sale, or use.
  • Content that provides instructions for self-harm or suicide. We follow safe messaging guidelines from recognized mental health authorities.
  • Content promoting illegal services, including scams, fraud, money laundering, or human trafficking.
  • Content depicting or promoting violations of applicable Indian law.

5. Content Moderation Process

5.1 Detection Methods

Content on this platform is reviewed through a combination of:

  • Automated Scanning: AI and machine learning systems that continuously scan content for known policy violations including CSAM hash matching, spam patterns, and violent content detection.
  • User Reporting: Reports submitted by users through the in-app reporting tools, reviewed by our moderation team.
  • Proactive Review: Periodic manual review of high-reach content, trending topics, and newly created accounts to proactively identify policy violations.

5.2 Review Process

When a piece of content is flagged for review:

  1. 1The content is placed in a review queue and may be temporarily hidden from public view pending review.
  2. 2A trained content reviewer assesses the content against our Content Guidelines, considering full context including caption, comments, and account history.
  3. 3The reviewer makes one of the following decisions: Approve (no violation), Remove (violation confirmed), Restrict (limit distribution without removal), or Age-Gate (restrict to adult users).
  4. 4The account owner is notified of any action taken, with a brief explanation and information on the appeals process.

5.3 Appeals Process

Users who disagree with a content moderation decision may appeal within 30 days. To file an appeal:

  1. 1Navigate to the notification or email about the content action.
  2. 2Select "Appeal This Decision" and provide context or additional information to support your appeal.
  3. 3Your appeal will be reviewed by a different member of our moderation team (not the original reviewer).
  4. 4We aim to resolve all appeals within 7 business days. You will receive a final decision notification.

5.4 Sensitive Content Categories

Certain content categories are not strictly prohibited but are subject to reduced distribution or age-gating based on their nature. These include:

  • Mature artistic nudity in clearly artistic or educational contexts.
  • Graphic news footage with clear journalistic purpose and proper labeling.
  • Graphic content related to health topics (e.g., post-surgical recovery, medical procedures) that is properly labeled.
  • Content related to conflict zones or humanitarian crises documented in a journalistic capacity.

6. Creator Responsibilities

Users with Creator accounts and accounts with significant follower counts bear additional responsibilities:

  • Creators must clearly disclose when content is sponsored, paid, or represents a commercial relationship (including gifted products).
  • Creators must not use their platform to promote pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing fraud, or other deceptive financial products.
  • Creators must apply content warnings to sensitive topics including mental health, violence, and mature themes.
  • Creators must not engage in "follow for follow" schemes or use deceptive tactics to artificially inflate their metrics.
