This policy is designed to fully comply with Google Play's account deletion and user data requirements.
Request Account Deletion
Fill out the form below to submit your account deletion request. After submission, your account will enter a 30-day recovery window before permanent deletion.
This action is permanent
Once your account is deleted after the 30-day window, it cannot be recovered. All your posts, messages, and data will be permanently removed.
1. How to Delete Your Account
1.1 In-App Deletion
You may request account deletion at any time through the Application using the following steps:
- 1Open the Application and navigate to your Profile page.
- 2Tap the Settings icon (gear icon) in the top-right corner.
- 3Select "Account" from the settings menu.
- 4Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete Account."
- 5Review the information presented about what account deletion means.
- 6If you wish to proceed, tap "Continue to Deletion."
- 7Re-authenticate your identity by entering your password or completing OTP verification via your registered mobile number.
- 8Confirm your deletion request by tapping "Delete My Account Permanently."
- 9Your account will enter a 30-day deactivation period immediately after confirmation.
1.2 Web-Based Deletion Request
In addition to in-app deletion, you may also submit an account deletion request by contacting our support team through the in-app help center. When submitting via support, you must provide:
- The email address or phone number associated with your account.
- A clear statement that you wish to permanently delete your account and all associated data.
- Identity verification as requested by our support team.
Support-initiated deletions follow the same timelines as in-app deletions (Section 3).
2. What Account Deletion Means
Before You Delete — Important Information
Account deletion is a permanent action. Once the deletion process is complete, your account and associated data cannot be recovered. Please read this section carefully before proceeding.
2.1 Immediate Effects (At Time of Deletion Request)
- Your account will be deactivated and your profile will no longer be visible to other users.
- You will not be able to log in to your account during the 30-day recovery window.
- Your username will be released from active use, though it will not be immediately available for re-registration by others to prevent impersonation.
- Your content will no longer appear in other users' feeds or discovery pages.
- Other users will no longer be able to search for or view your profile.
2.2 Effects After the 30-Day Recovery Window
After the 30-day recovery period expires and the deletion is confirmed:
- Your profile information — including name, username, bio, profile photograph, follower and following lists — will be permanently deleted.
- All content you posted — including posts, reels, videos, photographs, stories, and comments — will be permanently deleted from the platform.
- Your direct messages will be deleted from our servers. Note that message recipients may retain copies of messages on their own devices.
- Your account activity data — including likes, follows, and other interactions — will be anonymized or deleted.
- If you have a linked wallet or in-app balance (for future modules), you must withdraw all funds before deletion. Unwithdrawable balances are subject to applicable unclaimed property laws.
- Your account cannot be reinstated after this point, and any content, followers, following lists, or data associated with the account will be permanently lost.
3. Deletion Timeline and Process

4. Cancelling Your Deletion Request (Recovery)
If you change your mind after initiating account deletion, you may cancel the deletion and restore your account at any time during the 30-day recovery window. To cancel the deletion:
- 1Open the Application and attempt to log in with your existing credentials.
- 2You will see a notice informing you that your account is scheduled for deletion.
- 3Select "Cancel Deletion" and confirm that you wish to keep your account.
- 4Your account will be fully restored to its previous state, including all content, followers, and data.
After the 30-day recovery window closes on Day 31, the deletion process is initiated and cannot be reversed under any circumstances. We strongly encourage you to reconsider your decision within this window.
5. Legal Data Retention Exceptions
Certain categories of data may be retained beyond the standard deletion timelines described in Section 3, in the following limited circumstances:
5.1 Fraud Prevention and Platform Security
To protect the platform and its users from abuse, we may retain limited account metadata — such as registration timestamps, device identifiers used for registration, and account action history — for up to 180 days following account deletion. This data is used exclusively to prevent the creation of fraudulent replacement accounts and to detect patterns of platform abuse. This data is not accessible to the deleted user and is not shared with third parties.
5.2 Legal Process and Law Enforcement
If an account is subject to a pending investigation, legal hold, court order, or law enforcement request at the time of deletion request, we are required by law to preserve all relevant data for the duration of that legal process. A deletion request does not override a lawfully imposed data preservation obligation. We will inform the user that their deletion request is on hold if permitted to do so by applicable law.
5.3 Unresolved Disputes and Claims
If there is an active legal claim, dispute, complaint, or regulatory inquiry involving your account at the time of deletion, we will retain relevant data until the matter is fully resolved.
5.4 Financial Records (Future Modules)
For users of the Marketplace, Gig Platform, or Wallet features (in future versions), transaction records and financial data may be retained for up to 7 years following account deletion in compliance with applicable tax and financial record-keeping laws of India.
5.5 Content Reported by Others
If content you posted was reported and is under active review by our moderation team at the time of account deletion, that specific content may be preserved until the review is concluded and any resulting actions are documented.
6. Partial Data Deletion Options
If you do not wish to delete your entire account but want to remove specific data, the following options are available to you without requiring full account deletion:
- Delete Individual Posts, Reels, or Stories: Tap the three-dot menu on any content you own and select "Delete." This permanently removes the content from the platform within 24 hours.
- Delete Messages: You may delete messages from your own message history. Deleted messages are removed from your view; server deletion follows within 90 days.
- Clear Profile Information: You may edit or remove any optional profile fields (bio, location, links) at any time through profile editing.
- Remove Profile Photo: You may remove or replace your profile photo at any time.
- Data Download Request: Before deleting your account, you may request a download of your data archive. Submit this request through Settings > Privacy > Download My Data.
7. Account Deletion After Suspension or Termination
If your account has been suspended or terminated by us for violations of our Terms of Service or Content Guidelines, the account deletion process is handled differently:
- Accounts terminated for serious violations — including CSAM, terrorism-related content, or coordinated fraud — will not benefit from the 30-day recovery window. Data associated with these accounts may be retained for an extended period for law enforcement and legal defense purposes.
- You may not use account deletion as a mechanism to evade an active moderation action or to delete evidence of a reported violation. Deletion requests submitted immediately following the receipt of a severe moderation action may be paused pending investigation.
- Accounts terminated by us are not eligible for reinstatement through new account creation with the same credentials or device.
8. Notification of Deletion
When you submit a deletion request, you will receive:
- An immediate in-app confirmation that your deletion request has been received and the 30-day recovery window has begun.
- A confirmation email (if an email address is registered) summarizing the deletion timeline and your recovery options.
- A final notification on Day 30 (if you are reachable) reminding you that deletion will be finalized within 24 hours.
- No communication from us after deletion is finalized, as your contact information will have been deleted.
